How the outside of your bottle is coloured and protected — and which finish survives real use.
The colour and feel of a bottle's exterior are decided by how it is coated, and buyers rarely ask about it until a batch scratches in the field. The coating affects durability, the soft-touch feel customers love, and your cost. Here is how the main options compare from inside the paint shop.
A lesson that cost us a US shipment: a customer came back after a few weeks of use with the spray paint flaking. We traced it to unstable temperature control on the spray line — not the paint itself. We've since invested in new equipment to hold that temperature steady, and now steer most projects toward powder coating, which bonds far more reliably. If durability matters for your market, that's the finish we'll push you toward.

Liquid paint is sprayed and cured in coats. It offers the widest range of colours and effects — gradients, two-tone, metallic, and the popular soft-touch rubberised feel. It is flexible and great for fashion colours and small-batch variety. Quality depends on coats and curing, so a good paint shop matters; done well, it is durable and premium.
Dry powder is applied electrostatically then baked into a hard, even shell. It is tougher and more abrasion-resistant than standard paint, with excellent edge coverage — a strong choice for outdoor and heavy-use bottles. The colour range is slightly less unlimited than spray, but the durability is the headline.
For mirror-metallic, chrome and gold-style effects, electroplating gives a finish paint cannot match. It is used for premium and gift lines where a luxury metallic look is the selling point.

All finishing is done in-house in a sealed, ventilated paint workshop, which keeps colour consistent batch to batch. Send a Pantone reference and we will match it on a sample first.
