Starting a Drinkware Brand: Plan Your First Custom Order
A practical guide to choosing a model, approving your logo and packing, and preparing for repeat orders.
Starting a drinkware range gives you a few choices to make: the product, quantity, logo and how it will be presented. Share the idea, budget and date you are working towards. We can help compare existing models and put the sample, packing and shipment plan together.

Choose the body, capacity and lid
Tell us how the product will be used and where you plan to sell it. We can shortlist existing models by capacity, lid and shape. The applicable minimum depends on the selected model, colour and decoration; custom Pantone quantities are confirmed for the selected model. We confirm the model and colour mix with your brief before quoting.
Work through the artwork and sample
Start with an existing model. It gives you a body, capacity and lid to discuss from the beginning. If you need a new shape, we can check whether existing tooling suits the brief before discussing development. New mould work follows the existing tooling and payment guides.
Send the logo artwork. Include the position, size and colours you have in mind. We can prepare a free mockup on the actual product and confirm a suitable decoration method.
Timing depends on the model, artwork and sample approvals, order quantity, packing and shipping route. Share the date you are working toward and we’ll confirm a schedule for your order. Confirm the body, lid, logo position and finish, and keep the approved version as the reference for production.
Confirm the packing. Tell us the box style, barcode or carton markings your programme needs. We can work through the contents, inner counts and packing proof alongside the product sample.
Plan the order and shipment
Timing depends on the selected model, artwork and sample approvals, quantity, packing and shipping route. Share the date you are working toward and we’ll confirm a schedule for the sample, production and delivery stages of your order.
Keep the confirmed details together. The sample, logo artwork, colour reference and packing proof give the next run a clear starting point. Your contact can pick them up with you when you plan a repeat order.
Make the next order easier
When you are ready to reorder, send the model reference, quantity and any changes. We can check them against the earlier sample and packing details, confirm what needs a new approval, and work through the timing with you.
Frequently asked questions
Which choices can a new brand make before requesting a sample?▾
Choose a product direction, capacity, lid, stock or custom colour, logo area, packaging idea and target quantity. Starting from an existing model gives those decisions a concrete reference.
What can be adjusted after reviewing the first sample?▾
Review the body, lid, colour, logo size and position, and packing against the brief. Record any requested changes and confirm the revised proof or sample before production.
How can a first order be planned around launch demand?▾
Use your own sales forecast, channel plan and storage capacity to set the quantity. Include the confirmed MOQ, packed volume and delivery route when comparing launch options.
What references should be kept for a repeat order?▾
Keep the model code, approved sample, artwork, colour reference, packing specification, quantity and shipment details together. Share any change clearly so the new quotation can be checked against the previous order.
What should I review on an artwork proof and physical sample?▾
Use the proof to check logo size, position and colours. Use the physical sample to review the body, lid, finish, printed result and packing together, then record any requested change before approval.
How do stock and custom colours affect a first-order quantity?▾
For the 29 models with the confirmed quantity rule, stock colours can be mixed to reach 500 pieces total for that model; custom Pantone starts at 1,000 pieces per colour. Other models are confirmed individually in the quotation.
Which sales representative should I contact for samples, mock-ups or a quotation on this topic?▾
