The body is 18/8 (304) food-grade steel — never 201, on anything we ship. each vacuum body is tested for seal before painting, because a failed weld found after decoration is a scrapped unit, not a repair. Powder-coated bodies take silk-screen or heat transfer in your Pantone; laser engraving cuts to the steel where you want a mark that survives a dishwasher.
