Thermos Flask Questions — Direct Answers

What stainless steel grade do you use?▾

18/8 (304) stainless steel for both inner and outer walls on all models. Food-grade, corrosion-resistant, no taste or odor transfer. Some premium models use 18/10 (316) — specify if required. Our FDA certification covers these material grades specifically.

How do you verify insulation performance before shipping?▾

Every unit is tested for vacuum integrity before the outer coating is applied. We use a vacuum detector on the production line — units that fail the test are pulled and scrapped. We also conduct batch thermal testing per ASTM F2127 quarterly. You can request thermal test documentation for your order.

Can I order different colors in one shipment?▾

Yes — each color/design combination has a 500pc MOQ. So you can order 500 in black and 500 in white in the same shipment — those are two separate design runs. If you're testing multiple colorways, we recommend starting with one color to validate the market before adding SKUs.

What's the minimum for a custom Pantone color match?▾

Custom Pantone matching is available from 500 pcs. There's a color development fee (typically $80–120) for non-standard colors. We match it to your specified Pantone code. You'll receive a sample with the matched color before bulk production — your approval is required before we proceed.

Do you offer vacuum-insulated thermos flasks with bamboo lids?▾

Yes — natural bamboo lid options are available on several models including the TI-1135 and TI-1143. Bamboo lids appeal to eco-conscious brand positioning and are especially popular in EU and Australian markets. Please note bamboo lids require hand-washing. Specify in your inquiry and we'll send options.

What are the payment terms?▾

30% deposit by T/T to start production and the 70% balance before shipment. We ship FOB Ningbo or Shanghai.

How does the customization process work?▾

Send your logo and requirements, we quote and send a digital proof, then a pre-production sample in 7–10 days. Once you approve, bulk runs in ~30 days. Logo by silk-screen, laser engraving, heat transfer or UV print.
