Every photo, and what it tells you

Product photos usually show you the same thing six times. These six each answer a different question a buyer asked us about TA-4098.

TA-4098 — Starting quantity
Starting quantity Five hundred pieces per design, 500 ml / 750 ml. Several buyers split that first 500 across shades to see which one moves before committing to a bigger run — we are happy to work that way.
TA-4098 — Colours
Colours Purple, Blue, Pink, Yellow are held in stock, so a sample can go out without waiting on a spray run. For your own brand colour, a matched Pantone is its own spray batch from 1,000 pieces, and you approve a sprayed sample before the line starts.
TA-4098 — How it ships
How it ships 50 pieces per carton, 500ml: 55cm × 55cm × 33cm 750ml: 55cm × 55cm × 36cm, 500ml: 11/12kg 750ml: 12/13kg net and gross. Send your quantity and destination and the carton count, cubic and load plan come back with the price rather than after it — it makes the landed cost easier to model.
TA-4098 — If you want something we do not list
If you want something we do not list Send a drawing, a photo of something close, or just describe it. We come back with what works on existing tooling and what would need new tooling, with the cost and lead time for each, before you commit to either.
TA-4098 — Packaging options
Packaging options It ships in a plain white box as quoted. Retail colour box, your own box design, printed UPC or EAN, hang tags and compliance labels are all available — each is its own tooling round, so we itemise them rather than folding them into the unit price.
TA-4098 — What it is made of
What it is made of PCTG copolyester in contact with the drink. Our FDA and LFGB reports cover the finished product, and they travel with the shipment as standard rather than on request.

Anything missing? Ask and it goes in this table rather than in an email.

The lid is what your end users touch most

It is a wide screw-lid. Buyers tell us the lid is where their end users complain first — ahead of the finish, ahead of the capacity, ahead of anything on a spec sheet. It is also the part that gets least attention at the quotation stage.

On TA-4098 the lid was chosen for how it gets used rather than for how it photographs. It is built to hold a seal in a bag rather than to survive being shaken upside down; if your programme needs the second, say so and we will point you at a model designed for it rather than sell you this one and have it come back.

Ask for a sample lid and test it the way your end users will — from us or from anyone. Twenty opens a day for a year is a different test from one demonstration on a desk.

TA-4098 — A date that had to hold

A date that had to hold

A buyer needed 2000 pieces. We moved the batch up the queue and ran the line on overtime. It shipped two days early.

The reason it worked is unglamorous: we knew the date at enquiry, not after artwork. A deadline is the one variable nobody can renegotiate afterwards.

Tell us the in-hands date before the artwork and you get a straight answer about whether it holds — including a no, if that is the honest one.

Sourcing TA-4098? Here is how we run it

Three things buyers tell us go wrong on a first order, and what happens here at each.

You see it before you commit

A physical sample, not a rendering. Approve it and that unit stays in the plant as the reference for the run.

The first unit off the line is checked

Bulk starts, we compare unit one against your approved sample, and the line stops if it does not match. Catching a drift there costs an hour.

You hear about problems early

If a date slips or a colour moves, you get told while there is still time to decide — not when the container lands.

Who orders TA-4098

What you are actually buying from us

A quotation is easy to come by. These are the things that decide whether the second order is easy.

  • Before the order. Before anything is quoted we want the destination and the date, because those are the constraints everything else has to fit inside. If the date does not work, you hear that early rather than three weeks before it.
  • During production. Colour, artwork and carton marking each have a named step where you confirm them. If something moves during the run, it is adjusted before the rest is made.
  • After it ships. The same person who took your enquiry is still on it after the shipment leaves. If a date slips or a colour moves, you hear about it while there is still time to decide — not when the container lands.
  • One person, start to finish. You get one named contact who keeps your file open, learns how your business works, and carries the details between stages so you never re-explain them.
  • We will tell you when to buy something else. What we are unsure about, you hear about early. A finish we have not run on this body gets flagged before the deposit, not after the sample.
  • Twenty-eight years in this category. Twenty-eight years of custom work, and most of what we know came from orders that went wrong somewhere before they went right. That is the experience you are buying.

For Importers & Wholesalers
  • A container that clears customs a week late costs more than the discount you negotiated. We ask for the destination at enquiry so the paperwork is prepared for that market rather than assembled while the box sits at the port.
  • Pricing structure, documentation, inspection and payment terms — the things you check before a first order — are set out here: Importers & wholesalers →
Wholesale Pricing
For Brand Owners — OEM/ODM
  • Decoration that looks right in a mockup can fail in the end use — a printed logo in a canteen, an engraved one on a colour you wanted to pop. Tell us where it is going and we will say which method we would run and why, before you order.
  • How private label runs here — artwork, colour approval, tooling, what is yours and what is ours: Brand owners & private label →
Full OEM/ODM Guide →
For Retail Chains
  • Retail buyers get charged back for things the factory never saw: a barcode that will not scan, a carton that breaks the planogram, a delivery outside the window. Barcodes are scan-tested before the carton is sealed.
  • Retail compliance, hang tags, Prop 65 labelling and delivery windows: Retail chains →
Read Hallmark Case →
For Promotional Gift Buyers
  • Five hundred pieces is a real minimum here, not a number we push you past. Company events, one-off conferences and store openings work at that scale — you do not have to find 5,000 to justify a setup charge.
  • Lead times against a fixed event date, decoration choices, and what 500 pieces actually buys you: Promotional & gifting →
Gift Solutions →
For Hotels, Schools, Cafés, Events & Other End Organisations
  • An opening date or an event date cannot move. We work backwards from it, and if it is not achievable you hear that before you pay rather than two weeks before the date.
  • How DDP works, what it covers and where a local importer of record is still needed: DDP door-to-door →
See the DDP door-to-door service →
For E-commerce & Amazon Sellers
  • FBA rejections are usually about labelling, not the product. FNSKU labels, Prop 65 stickers, suffocation warnings and carton marking are applied here to FBA spec, and cartons ship direct to fulfilment centres.
  • FBA prep, labelling, carton specs and the other platforms we ship for: E-commerce & Amazon →

Questions buyers ask before the first order

Five hundred pieces per design in the stock colours (Purple, Blue, Pink, Yellow). A matched Pantone starts at 1,000 — a custom colour is its own spray run rather than a draw from stock. You can mix stock colours to reach the 500, which several buyers do on a first order to see which shade moves.

Yes, from the first 500 pieces — there is no separate logo minimum. Four methods in-house: silk screen, laser engraving, heat transfer and UV print. The straight body gives an uninterrupted panel with no seam to work the artwork around. Send a vector file and we return a print proof showing how it sits on this body before anything runs. Tell us the end use and we will say which method we would run and why.

Two routes. Stock colours — Purple, Blue, Pink, Yellow — ship from inventory at 500 pieces per design, so a sample reaches you without waiting on a spray run. A matched Pantone runs from 1,000 pieces as its own spray batch: you send the Pantone reference, we spray a sample, you approve it, and only then does the line start. The first unit off the bulk run is then compared against that approved sample before the rest continues.

30% deposit to start production, 70% before shipment. On smaller orders we often settle the whole amount against the proforma invoice instead — two transfers cost both sides bank charges that are not worth paying on a modest total. Either way the terms go in writing on the PI rather than being agreed later. If your company has its own process, tell us early and we will work to it.

Freight is worked out per order rather than from a table, because it depends on the cubic volume and how you want it shipped. Once you have picked the models and settled the quantity, send us the delivery address and we come back with the carton count, the cubic and the freight — by sea, by air or door-to-door, whichever suits the date you are working to. Ask for FOB and DDP side by side if you want to compare handling the import yourself against one delivered price.

Send a drawing, a photo of something close, or just describe it. We come back with what is feasible on our existing tooling and what needs new tooling, with the cost and the lead time for each — before you commit to either. Most programmes start on an existing body with your own colour, decoration and packaging; new tooling makes sense once the volume justifies it, and we will say plainly when it does not.

Six steps, and you set the pace at each one. 1. Send the enquiry — quantity, destination, and the in-hands date if you have one. 2. The quotation comes back with carton cubic already in it, so you can model landed cost before replying rather than asking for it. 3. Take a sample if you want one — or order straight from artwork if you already know the model. 4. Proforma invoice, then the deposit. 5. Production, 30 days from artwork approval; the first unit off the line is checked against the reference you approved. 6. Balance, then shipment with the full document set.

Yes, and most buyers do. Tell us the model and the colour you want to see; we quote the sample charge and the courier fee separately so you know both before committing. Seven to ten days to your door. If you already know TA-4098 and just need the logo right, you can also order straight from an approved artwork proof.

Logo by silk screen, laser engraving, heat transfer or UV print — the straight body is an uninterrupted panel with no seam to work around. Colour: stock from 500, matched Pantone from 1,000. Packaging: retail colour box, printed UPC or EAN, hang tags — budgeted as its own line.

The straight body gives you an uninterrupted panel — no curve to fight, no seam to work around. Send your artwork and we return a print proof showing exactly how it sits on this body, at the size you want, before anything runs. If the mark is too fine for the method you picked, we will say so at the proof stage rather than after the run.
