TP-1004 12oz Handled Double-Wall Beer Growler

Model: TP-1004 · OEM/ODM Ready · Jupeng Factory, Yongkang China

The inner wall is 304 stainless throughout — the standard for food contact, and what keeps a flask tasting of nothing after a year of coffee. Buyers usually reach this page looking for personalized beer mugs; if that is your brief, the figures below are the ones you will be quoted from.

A gift company in Germany takes this one for outdoor users. It also goes through a supermarket chain; the orders themselves are for branded promotional gifts.

Every photo, and what it tells you

Product photos usually show you the same thing six times. These six each answer a different question a buyer asked us about TP-1004.

TP-1004 — Starting quantity
Starting quantity Five hundred pieces per design, 12oz. Several buyers split that first 500 across shades to see which one moves before committing to a bigger run — we are happy to work that way.
TP-1004 — Colours
Colours Stock shades rotate through the season, so ask what is on the floor this month. A matched Pantone runs from 1,000 pieces, with a sprayed sample for you to approve first.
TP-1004 — Terms
Terms 30%% deposit to start production, 70%% before shipment. On smaller orders we often settle the whole amount against the proforma invoice instead, because two transfers cost both sides bank charges that are not worth paying.
TP-1004 — Seeing one first
Seeing one first Most buyers take a sample before committing, and it is usually the fastest way to settle a question. Seven to ten days to your door; we quote the sample charge and the courier separately so you see both up front.
TP-1004 — Who you deal with
Who you deal with One person, from the first quotation to the shipping confirmation. Whoever prices your order is the one who answers when the artwork changes, and the one still on it after the shipment leaves.
TP-1004 — Timing
Timing Around 30 days from artwork approval, plus 7–10 days if you want a sample first. Tell us the date you need it in hand and we plan backwards from there, and say early if it does not fit rather than accepting it and hoping.

Why the grade of the steel matters here

The wall in contact with the drink is 304 stainless — the standard grade for food contact, and what we run across the range. It is not an exotic choice; it is the part of the build that decides how the flask behaves after a year of daily coffee.

What we spend attention on sits upstream of the specification. The coil comes from suppliers we have bought from for years rather than whoever quotes lowest that month, and the grade is marked on the unit so it travels with the product rather than living in a file.

If your programme has its own testing requirement, say so at enquiry. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or TUV is welcome at any stage — we would rather build it into the schedule than have it arrive as a surprise at pre-shipment.

TP-1004 — Where we put the checks

Where we put the checks

If you are putting your own brand on TP-1004, the expensive failure is rarely the flask. It is having to explain something to your customer that you did not know to ask us about. Buyers who came to us after problems elsewhere describe: a logo that printed blurred at the edges and interiors that discoloured after acidic drinks.

Neither of those is a claim about anyone. They are the two questions worth putting to any supplier, us included: can I see the grade marked on the liner, and where exactly do I approve the colour.

Our answer to the second one is a named step. You approve a spray sample before the line starts, and the first unit off the line is compared against it before the rest of the run continues. If it does not match, the line stops.

Sourcing TP-1004? Here is how we run it

Three things buyers tell us go wrong on a first order, and what happens here at each.

You see it before you commit

A physical sample, not a rendering. Approve it and that unit stays in the plant as the reference for the run.

The first unit off the line is checked

Bulk starts, we compare unit one against your approved sample, and the line stops if it does not match. Catching a drift there costs an hour.

You hear about problems early

If a date slips or a colour moves, you get told while there is still time to decide — not when the container lands.

Who orders TP-1004

What you are actually buying from us

A quotation is easy to come by. These are the things that decide whether the second order is easy.

  • Before the order. The awkward questions get asked at the start — which artwork file, which colour reference, how the cartons are marked. They cost a conversation now, or a shipment later.
  • During production. The sample you approve stays in the plant as the physical reference. The first unit off the bulk line is compared against it before the rest continues, so a drift gets sorted out then rather than after the container is packed.
  • After it ships. A second order should be easier than the first. The approved reference stays here between runs, so what you reorder matches what your customers already have.
  • One person, start to finish. No ticket numbers, no being passed along — the same name from the first email to the last document.
  • We will tell you when to buy something else. We say no to dates we cannot hold. Accepting an impossible deadline and hoping is how both sides lose.
  • Twenty-eight years in this category. We have run this category for brand owners, retail chains, gift houses and marketplace sellers. The questions each of them asks are different, and we know which ones come up late.

For Importers & Wholesalers
  • Steel grade is the one thing you cannot check from a photograph. On this model the grade is laser-marked on the base of the inner liner, so your QC reads it on arrival rather than taking anyone’s word for it.

For Brand Owners — OEM/ODM
  • Brand owners usually discover the packaging budget late. Retail box, printed UPC or EAN, hang tags and compliance labels are their own tooling and proofing round — we itemise them rather than folding them into a unit price.
  • How private label runs here — artwork, colour approval, tooling, what is yours and what is ours: Brand owners & private label →

For Retail Chains
  • A shelf date that moves is worse than a shelf date that is long. We plan backwards from your delivery window and say early if it does not fit, rather than accepting it and hoping the line catches up.

For Promotional Gift Buyers
  • A logo that scuffs off after a season turns a gift into a complaint. Engraving is cut into the metal; printed marks vary by method. Say where it is going and we will tell you which one we would run.
  • Lead times against a fixed event date, decoration choices, and what 500 pieces actually buys you: Promotional & gifting →

For Hotels, Schools, Cafés, Events & Other End Organisations
  • If this is for your own hotel, school, café or event, the part that stops most first-time buyers is the import itself — the licence, the broker, the duty invoice nobody warned them about. Ask for a DDP quote and that layer goes away.

Questions buyers ask before the first order

Five hundred pieces per design in the stock colours (the stock shades). A matched Pantone starts at 1,000 — a custom colour is its own spray run rather than a draw from stock. You can mix stock colours to reach the 500, which several buyers do on a first order to see which shade moves.

Yes, from the first 500 pieces — there is no separate logo minimum. Four methods in-house: silk screen, laser engraving, heat transfer and UV print. The straight body gives an uninterrupted panel with no seam to work the artwork around. Send a vector file and we return a print proof showing how it sits on this body before anything runs. Tell us the end use and we will say which method we would run and why.

Two routes. Stock colours — the stock shades — ship from inventory at 500 pieces per design, so a sample reaches you without waiting on a spray run. A matched Pantone runs from 1,000 pieces as its own spray batch: you send the Pantone reference, we spray a sample, you approve it, and only then does the line start. The first unit off the bulk run is then compared against that approved sample before the rest continues.

30% deposit to start production, 70% before shipment. On smaller orders we often settle the whole amount against the proforma invoice instead — two transfers cost both sides bank charges that are not worth paying on a modest total. Either way the terms go in writing on the PI rather than being agreed later. If your company has its own process, tell us early and we will work to it.

Freight is worked out per order rather than from a table, because it depends on the cubic volume and how you want it shipped. Once you have picked the models and settled the quantity, send us the delivery address and we come back with the carton count, the cubic and the freight — by sea, by air or door-to-door, whichever suits the date you are working to. Ask for FOB and DDP side by side if you want to compare handling the import yourself against one delivered price.

Send a drawing, a photo of something close, or just describe it. We come back with what is feasible on our existing tooling and what needs new tooling, with the cost and the lead time for each — before you commit to either. Most programmes start on an existing body with your own colour, decoration and packaging; new tooling makes sense once the volume justifies it, and we will say plainly when it does not.

Six steps, and you set the pace at each one. 1. Send the enquiry — quantity, destination, and the in-hands date if you have one. 2. The quotation comes back with carton cubic already in it, so you can model landed cost before replying rather than asking for it. 3. Take a sample if you want one — or order straight from artwork if you already know the model. 4. Proforma invoice, then the deposit. 5. Production, 30 days from artwork approval; the first unit off the line is checked against the reference you approved. 6. Balance, then shipment with the full document set.

Depends on the stage, and we will tell you plainly which. Artwork and colour can move before the line is set; quantity is usually workable while material is still being prepared; once the run has started, changes mean a new run. Ask as early as you can and we will say what is still open rather than quietly absorbing it and missing your date.

Each piece goes in a plain white box, then 50 to an export carton at 52cm × 42cm × 40cm. Cartons are marked to your instruction — shipping marks, FBA labels, retailer carton codes. If your warehouse has a pallet spec or a height limit, send it at enquiry and we plan the load around it rather than after.

Five hundred pieces in a stock colour, split across the shades if you want to see which moves. That is 10 cartons — small enough to air-freight if the date is tight, and enough to give you real sell-through data rather than a guess.
